Brand Manager – Home Category (12 months fixed-term contract)

Context & Mission : 

Contributes to shaping the Home category by defining key business and brand-building priorities, identifying the most impactful product, go-to-market and 360° activation strategies to address them. Ensures each initiative reinforces the broader brand vision, creates meaningful business impact, and enhances the end-to-end experience delivered to our guests.

The Global Brand Manager leads the development of Home Décor collections, i.e. functional accessories that complement our existing routines and rituals, as well as decorative objects that help build a distinctive, coherent and desirable art of living experience.

In close collaboration with Purchasing (procurement) and Creative Teams, as well as Operational Marketing and local markets, the role combines product development and curation, portfolio management, go-to-market strategy and 360° activation to strengthen the Maison’s presence in the Home universe.

You will be based in Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva) and you report to the Global Strategic Projects Director.

Main Responsibilities : 

Home Category Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Monitor premium Home decoration, lifestyle, gifting and omnichannel trends (design, usages, collection plans, activations, go-to-market) to identify relevant opportunities for the Maison.
  • Define and continuously refine the Home offer architecture as a whole, with a specific responsibility on Home Décor and in close alignment with the work carried out within Home Fragrance, while also creating meaningful connections with the brand’s other product categories (hand, body, face, hair).
  • Coordinate performance tracking, market feedback and strategic recommendations to support assortment decisions and business priorities.
  • Integrate consumer insights, market feedback and post-launch learnings to continuously enhance the relevance and performance of the Home category

Home Decor Product Development

  • Lead the end-to-end development of Home Décor, from brief to launch, ensuring product desirability, feasibility, quality, price positioning and alignment with the Maison’s standards.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing team to identify suppliers, assess sourcing options, follow development timelines and secure operational feasibility.
  • Produce launch notes, product copy and storytelling contents that elevate the Home Décor offer and support clear implementation by local markets.

360° Activation & Market Rollout

  • Build clear launch narratives and activation guidelines that bring the Home Décor offer to life across retail, e-commerce, CRM, PR, media and social channels.
  • Partner with Creative Studio, Visual Merchandising and Operational Marketing to develop assets and/or actionable guidelines, and to ensure a coherent expression of the Home universe across all touchpoints.
  • Lead Home Décor toolbox creation and ensure global content consistency, with practical guidance for assortment presentation, storytelling and merchandising.
  • Lead transversal projects across the entire Home (i.e. with Home Fragrance), including but not limited to assortment strategy, campaigns, CRM, visual merchandising, L&D, data crunching and reporting, copywriting…
  • Coordinate rollout with Global Operational Marketing and local markets, collecting feedback to optimise future launches and partner-brand selections.

(Wholesale) curation initiatives

  • Help developing curation initiaves (i.e. procurement and resell of products from third-party brands or manufacturers) for Le Couvent des Minimes and L’Occitane en Provence retail doors.
  • The scope of responsibilities for these initiatives may include -although this remains to be confirmed, as it will depend on the evolution of these projects and the organization of the team- product selection and suppliers’ working relationship on the one hand, and/or project management (incl. IT, supply, accounting processes, as well as retail operations and reporting).

Operational flexibility and back up within the Home team

  • Works in close partnership with their Home Fragrance counterpart and has a strong understanding of the category strategy, key business challenges, operating processes, and stakeholder ecosystem.
  • Able to provide effective back-up support when needed, both in managing operational workload and contributing to decision-making to ensure business continuity.

How you can fit :

  • 3-5 years of experience in Brand, Product or Category Management in the home goods industry (home décor, furnishings) or personal goods industry (fashion, beauty)
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Strong product development skills, ideally with a proven and successful track record in home goods industry
  • Strong aesthetic sensitivity and ability to assess brand fit, quality, design relevance and commercial potential
  • Solid understanding of global 360° activations and premium communication ecosystems
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership, structure ambiguous topics and drive progress in fast-moving, non-standardised environments
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple development and referencing streams simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, analytical rigour and curiosity for consumer behaviour, interior decoration and lifestyle trends
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
  • Passion for design and aesthetics, craftsmanship and premium lifestyle experiences
