Context & Mission :

L’Occitane en Provence is accelerating the transformation of its marketing and brand operations through AI.

Our ambition is to reinvent how brand content work is produced — faster, more scalable, and more consistent across markets—while preserving the brand’s identity and quality. We are looking for a highly autonomous intern to act as an AI catalyst within the brand team, with specific focus on marketing and communication.

Over 6 months, you will help transform the way Global Brand teams operate through AI and automation.
The objective is not only to accelerate marketing content creation, but also to automate repetitive and manual tasks that add limited value, such as data handling, reporting preparation, or workflow coordination.


By optimizing processes and tasks, you will help teams work faster, smarter, and focus their time on creativity, and strategic thinking.

 

Main Responsibilities :

  • Analyze current content and brand workflows (competition reviews, copywriting, translations, asset adaptation, brand messaging, presentations, briefings, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to augment or redesign these workflows using AI
  • Build and deploy AI-powered solutions using:
    • Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot)
    • Custom AI assistants (GPTs, Claude projects, prompt systems trained on brand guidelines)
    • Lightweight scripting when relevant (Python, APIs)
  • Design on-brand content generation systems (product descriptions, campaign copy, social media variations, etc.)
  • Train teams on how to effectively use AI in their daily creative work
  • Document workflows and build reusable frameworks

 

How you can fit : 

  • Student in Master's degree with a strong interest in AI and marketing topics, looking for an end-of-studies internship or gap-year internship (an internship agreement provided by your current school is mandatory)
  • Strong creative and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to build with AI tools (not just use them casually)
  • Fluent in English & French
  • Experience with tools like ChatGPT and/or Claude
  • Strong sensitivity to tone, language, and brand voice
  • High level of autonomy and curiosity
  • Experience in content creation (copywriting, social media, branding)
  • Experience building custom AI assistants or prompt systems
  • Basic technical skills (Python, APIs, or structured prompt design)
  • Interest in luxury, beauty, or lifestyle branding

 

What Success Looks Like

By the end of the internship, you will have:

  • Built several custom AI assistants used by the team (brand-aware, reusable)
  • Significantly reduced time spent on marketing & communication content production
  • Contributed to redefining how marketing work is produced with AI
