CONTEXT:

L’Occitane Group Travel Retail team is looking for an Intern, based in Switzerland. This person will work closely with L’Occitane en Provence Regional Marketing Manager to execute Marketing & Digital initiatives within the Travel Retail environment (airports, cruises and ferries, airlines).

This internship will give you an understanding of the challenging European Travel Retail markets, how to market to travelers in-store & online and a behind the scenes exposure to the Trade Marketing process from a local perspective.
 

MAIN MISSIONS:

Hand-in-hand with your managers, you will be responsible for developing and executing Marketing strategy of the Brands to achieve defined business objectives (KPIs). You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper development, execution and benchmarking of all programs designed to increase brands visibility on POS (Point of Sale).

1 – TRADE MARKETING 

  • Assist in the planning, implementation and tracking of trade marketing initiatives for retailers, in collaboration with commercial & marketing teams to drive sales and enhance brand presence
  • Support & co-build the organization and execution of promotional campaigns, in-store & local activations and brand events, ensuring the availability and/or development of all necessary marketing tools (Merchandising, Visuals, 360° plan, GWPs, Products and retailer presentations, etc.) in coordination with Marketing Manager
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Local Sales Managers and Field/Retail teams, to analyze sales performance and consumer insights, provide recommendations and best practices for future campaigns, and ensure the proper execution of animations and activations at points of sale

 

2 – MARKETING & DIGITAL SUPPORT

  • Assist in the creation, updating and maintenance of key marketing materials (Marketing Bible, Digital Toolbox, presentation decks, and visual merchandising recommendations, Sell-Out analysis), while also providing administrative support to the team, such as managing databases, product orders, follow-up of invoicing and ensuring all materials are accurately updated
  • Develop all communications tools in collaboration with a graphic designer, including presentations, brochures and visual assets for local campaigns, ensuring alignment with Marketing Manager and Local Sales teams
  • Support the management of digital campaigns and yearly content, ensuring brand consistency across all platforms
  • Help monitor the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and report on key metrics
  • Support in the design and production of all assets for online campaigns, social media and other marketing channels such as airlines catalogs

 

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • Master degree with a first experience in Operational Marketing (an internship agreement provided by your school is mandatory),
  • Experience in Marketing and/or Cosmetics and/or Travel Retail would be a plus,
  • Fluent in English, French would be highly appreciated,
  • Proficency on Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook,
  • Creative and entrepreneurial, solution oriented,
  • Strong team spirit and good coordination skills,
  • At ease in a fast-paced and multi task environment, working with short-term deadlines.

 

STARTING DATE: July 2026 for 6 months (Full-time position)
